All chess sets
Our promise
Our commitment
Chess is the oldest and most demanding game in the world. You deserve a set worthy of it, not a board forgotten at the back of a drawer.
Every Wood & Wit piece is made to last for decades: solid woods, fine materials, craftspeople who care. A chess set is passed on, not thrown out.
Beginner or seasoned player, our promise is simple: an object you will be proud of, on your playing table as much as in your living room.
Do you remember your first chess set?
Your grandfather’s, sitting on the living room table. The weight of the pieces between your fingers. The smell of the wood. Games that ran for hours.
Most sets you find online today are not worth that memory. Brittle plastic, pieces that topple, a board that warps within three months.
Wood & Wit exists for one reason: to give you that object back. Better.
